All Girl Challenge - Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn PART 4A

A long blog hiatus, because I was playing other games, especially Fire Emblem Fates - all routes. Hopefully I can still have a good narration of the events of Part 4. Pardon for the large amount of iimages. This is a very informative chapter.

Part 4 Opening Conversation

Beorc and laguz were petrified, because of Ashera's judgement. Whoever possessed Micaiah had said these things. Oh, she haven't introduced her yet.

Yune, the dark god? Reference from Path of Radiance
In Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Yune is known as the dark god who resides in the medallion of Lehran. If awakened by war, it would be the end of the world, to make things simple. However, Yune was awakened by the Galdr of Release, so why are most people petrified?

A short biography on who Yune and Ashera are, opposed to what the characters normally know.
Mist tried to sing it, but she only knows the melody, and not the lyrics.

The horrible truth of what Ashera did:

Ike and company, the so called "Chosen Ones", are to head to the Tower of Guidance at Begnion, to confront Ashera for what she has done to the people of Tellius. They are split into three armies, to prevent the whole army being taken down in the case of an ambush by Ashera's army.

Here are my chosen lineups for the three armies:

Silver army
Micaiah, Sothe, Leanne, and Skrimir are mandatory members of the Silver Army. I've put Sigrun and Tanith here, since they would be useful in a chapter involving their army. Meg and Laura have A support, so they are together. It would also be nice to have the original Dawn Brigade together. Ilyana and Mia, on the other hand, have A support, and bond support, so they would be great together. The rest are just fillers.

Greil Army
As the name states, the leaders of the Greil Mercenaries are in this army. Ike, Mist, Titania, and Soren are joined by Queen Nailah and Rafiel. Heather and Nephenee are together with A support, even though Nephenee has bond support with Calill. Jill is also here because she has bond support and will build A support with Mist. The rest are filler units, though most of them are members of the Greil Mercenaries.

Hawk Army
Tibarn, Reyson, Ranulf, Elincia, Lucia, and Tauroneo are the mandatory members of the Hawk Army. Marcia and Astrid have A support, so they are together. Calill and Fiona, on the other hand, have no support with anyone, so I plan to have them build support during their time in the Hawk Army. Calill is also in this army as she is needed to unlock a scene in a later chapter. The rest are filler characters, but it is noted that members of the Crimean Royal Army are here. Tibarn's men Janaff and Ulki are also here.

Ranulf's warning to Ike before the armies split up.
Shocking the first time I found out about this.

Part 4A: On the Way to the Tower of Guidance

Yune, you are never wrong.

Prologue

Sanaki and Raven King Naesala join the Silver Army. During one of their stops, the Silver Army are attacked by an army known as Disciples of Order, people who are freed by Ashera from petrification to fight for her

Even worse:
This makes the battle a challenging one, but at the same time beneficial. The enemies may be stronger, and tougher, but they yield more EXP points. Units can level up faster, making them stronger.

My army may be small, but majority of them are composed of 3rd tier classes already, while the enemy only have high level 2nd class units. Though I have the upper hand,  it is still a difficult battle. I also have to deal with the annoying AI trick which never gets old, the hit and run Canto strategy.

Chapter 1

Nearly beat Leanne's team? Nope!
Can't let the item only Mist can use go to waste, and just at the right moment.
The Greil Army also got ambushed.
This is one of those chapters where having a small army hurts. Enemy entry points are limited, but they can create new ones. Not everyone in the army are "bulky" enough to receive a lot of enemy attacks. What's worse? I realized that I put too many magic users in the Silver Army, and none here. I should've put Mia and Ilyana here, and transferred Heather and Nephenee to the other team.

Jill and Mist defend the right side of camp. Nephenee and Heather guard the left side of camp. Ike, Nailah, and Titania defend the main entrance of the camp. Ranged weapons is a +1 in this battle, because a lot of enemies are either using javelins, or are casters.
Fog of War made the battle even harder, because of harder prediction of enemy movements. Heather comes in handy here, because of the thief class having extended vision, something not lost from the series.

I'm sorry, what we're you trying to say?
"Fanatics"
Chapter 2

Tibarn worries that too much order would be bad for the laguz. Without enemies to fight on the way, they would be out of shape when they finally confront Ashera. They are soon ambushed by an army of the Disciples of Order, led by Senator Valtome.

Not counting Tibarn, the army consists of six units only! On the bright side, Elincia with 4x attack from the Amiti is here, to reduce the stress.

The army may be small, but it is not as difficult as the previous battle, since it is not a defend battle. Besides, enemies only attack when units are on their attack range, making me able to limit the attacks per turn. I just have to be aware of the wind sage with the Blizzard tome, because there are fliers in my troop.

Oh, you're looking for her? Don't worry, you'll meet her.

Thanks to the increased EXP drop, Lucia was able to promote to Trueblade quickly. With the addition of Astra skill, clearing the level has never been easier.

Valtome, are you looking for Elincia? Here she is. She never forgot what you did to a village in Crimea.

Prepare to get owned for what you did, Valtome!
Time to pay for your abuse of power!

I'm going to stop here for now. Next post would be on the continuation of their journey, and then it's on to the Tower of Guidance.
