All Girl Challenge - Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn PART 3B

This is second part of All Girl Challenge for Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn Part 3. This is the part where the title becomes literal. Intersecting Vows: It's more like "Where the Vows Actually Intersect.

Chapter 6

As the Greil Mercenaries and the Laguz Alliance slowly retreat from Begnion territory, Daein's Army now attacks the laguz, as requested by Begnion. Why would Daein suddenly aid Begnion, despite their abusive occupation of the kingdom?

(Pardon for some of the bad pictures. I should've known better than to take pictures in the dark.)

Pelleas, why?

This chapter is one of the real challenges of the game. Remember the very under leveled units back from Part 1? They're going to fight laguz. The laguz give good EXP when they are in beast form, but their stats are doubled in that form, which is deadly for fragile units, namely Micaiah and Laura. Since my goal is to get as much EXP as possible in preparation for the blood contract chapter, and the mission ends after defeating a number of laguz; I have to defeat every single laguz in beast form.

Attacking with such a small army, but they are well trained even at low level, and I have the strategy.

Black Knight arrives after a few turns, but I only used him as tank by removing his weapon to avoid him attacking.

Formation on the left and right choke points.
The tank units for this chapter are Meg and Black Knight for the left side, then Jill, Fiona, and Sothe forming a line at the right. The Other units are set to halt after going moving towards the enemy a bit, making them a temporary wall. Lastly, Micaiah and Laura go on separate ways to heal the wall units.

There are some interesting conversations in this chapter. Can I just name Part 3 - Intersecting Feels? So much feels for this part, especially for those who played the previous game.

Lethe finds Sothe in the midst of the confusion, yet they still fight.

Jill's encounter with Mordecai and Lethe, her laguz friends.

Chapter 7

The second part of the encounter, and this time, it's the Greil Mercenaries in control. Ike helps the lagus pass through the forces of Daein.

First things first. Do not ever think of bringing horse riders. They won't be able to cross the river.

This is one of the important chapters in order to fulfill the secret endings. Ike must battle Black Knight and trigger the conversation. Ike, battling the full stat BK? Sounds impossible, but it is one of the requirements.

I used the Bonus EXP to raise Ike's level to 20 and hopefully, get enough speed stat to avoid getting doubled by Black Knight. Too bad I lacked 1 speed point. I repeated the chapter a lot of times, trying every tactic. In the end, I used the Spectre Card, which makes BK unable to counter.

I have to use Haar in this chapter, so I can recruit Jill into my team, to help rescue Ike after attacking BK. I also used Reyson for this reason.

(Now I know you would probably say that I'm not supposed to used males, but I tell you this. It's very difficult without Reyson and Haar for Jill. Janaff and Ulki are exempted because they join in this chapter.)

That aside, this chapter also has a lot of feels. Conversations between old friends fighting are present.

Yep, things are getting waayyyy crazy in here.

One of Zihark's conversations. He also has one with Ilyana, by the way.

I did not see this conversation on my first playthrough. Maybe I let her close enough to Micaiah to initiate conversation.

Thanks to the hawks, Ike will be able to fly towards Black Knight without much trouble. With the help of Reyson's Heron form Vigor Galdr, Ike is able to approach BK, throw a Spectre Card, and get rescued by the flying Canto users.

Ike battles the Black Knight
Soren also gets a chance to battle. He engages Micaiah this time. I'm not sure if this is a requirement for Soren's secret conversation, but I'm just making sure. I also marked the range of BK so I could take precaution.

Micaiah, you're one Adept skill from defeat.

Soren the genius. One look and he knows about Micaiah already.
Soren could be easily beaten by BK when the turn ends, but thanks to the mission objecctive, I can opt to defeat "Boss", which is Micaiah. Someone who is slow and fragile is the boss. I can end the mission easily without risking anyone anymore.

Poor Micaiah. Maybe the strategy of the Greil Mercenaries is too much for her.

Chapter 8

The Laguz Alliance and the Greil Mercenaries escape through Kauku Caves. The caves are known to be dangerous. Thinking the enemies won't follow them inside, they take the risk.

Too bad. The senators wanted the soldiers to follow the esccapees, against their will.

Very simple chapter, just be wary of the floors which can damage you at the start of each turn.

They run through the wrong exit and arrive at Goldoa, the dragon kingdom.
Dragon king so heartless.
Chapter 9

The Senate asks for aid from Crimea, but Queen Elincia insists that Crimea is neutral against the war. The impatient senator then orders the burning of houses in a village. Elincia orders the Royal Knights to stop the problem.

Okay, this is one annoying mission. Use only four units to rout the enemy, and put out the fires of the burning houses before these burn to the ground. One is fragile, and one can only use bows, meaning she can't be used for counterattacking melee units. The Other units are also morons. It's fun, right?

Actually, only three are the important units, namely Marcia, Callil, and Astrid. Geoffrey is the fourth one, because of being a forced-deployed unit.

Thanks to Marcia being well trained in the events of Part 2, I can let her go solo to easily reach further burning houses. Callil can follow her upwards since she can climb ledges. Geoffrey meanwhile blocks the enemy so Astrid can fire with her bow, while equipped with the Adept skill.

One disturbing fact about using the royal knights: NO healers. Everyone has to waste a turn just to use a healing item.

I managed to save all the houses. Saving them is important since you get bonus EXP for them.

Part 3 is very long, with the addition of the large number of pictures. I used Photoshop so I could join some of the pictures in one file, since blogger is not like MS Word.

I have to split Part 3 once again. Stay tuned for PART 3C, and a possible 3D.
