All Girl Challenge - Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn PART 4B

We're almost finished with the All Girl Challenge for the game, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. Let's continue with the journey to the Tower of Guidance in Begnion.

Chapter 3

Micaiah and company are somewhere in the desert. Here, they are attacked by the Disciples of Order, here led by Duke Numida, one of those responsible for the oppression in Daien.

This is a pretty hard chapter (at first), because it's in the desert. Meaning there are reduced movement for some units. My team composed mostly of mages and fliers may be a good thing, but they are still vulnerable, and can't be used for the front lines. The status staves are also annoying.

Upon the arrival of Black Knight, the tables have turned. He can destroy everyone literally, but I cannot let him do that. My units need all the exp points they can get before they move to the Tower of Guidance. Although he gives bonus exp for units he finishes off, I still need my units as they also have to raise their weapon levels.

So, I did not let him reach the boss. I raced him to Numida. What's funny is even though Numida uses staff on my units at a large distance, confrontation conversations still occur. For instance:

Numida is still far from them, yet they talk to each other. Those have got to be loud voices.

Black Knight is closing in on Hetzel. Time to race him to defeat the boss first. But first, let's have some more conversations.
It's nice to see the loyalty of the Holy Knights to Sanaki, even with the controversy that she is not the true apostle.

Chapter 4

Ike's team stop at a villa. Here they find Tormod, Vika, and Muarim confronted by the Disciples of Order.

The only difficulty I experienced in this chapter, is to prevent the trio from getting owned. Since they are underleveled, mainly because they are only available in Part 1, they can easily get doubled, even the sage using Meteor. At least they do not fall under the "other" units. That would be much more difficult to save them.

Burn, Ike, burn! LOL

The boss in this level is... Oliver? For those who does not know him, he kept Reyson in his villa, in the previous game. He is wanted for what he has done to the heron laguz.

I could just finish him off, but after he saw Rafiel,
It's funny how Oliver is the one who came close to Rafiel. Even though he is with the enemy, he is still obsessed with the heron tribe laguz. That leaves one less enemy to defeat.

Chapter 5

Remember why I put Calill in the Silver Army? It is for triggering this scene:
She's just a child. How come she is spared from Ashera's judgement?
The Silver Army finds Count Bastian and Volke in pursuit of a man who escaped their captivity. With them, is Duke Renning, who got imprisoned during the previous game. He was given the drug that creates Feral Ones, and needs an antidote.

Time to unleash the small army again.
My mistake? I should've put more ladies in this team, especially those who are good tanks. Getting ambushed by high attack units is not cool, especially the tigers and dragons. Another mistake is bringing Paragon to this team. I should've given it to the other teams, since the laguz yield good amounts of exp points.

Every turn, Izuka would be summoning four feral ones to aid him in battle. This would've been a non-ending battle for me, if he did not stop it at turn 20+ I think. On the bright side, my units would reach the max level, but this is also bad.

My units form a wall, to protect my units with lesser defense. I am only hoping that blocking would be effective, due to my limited amount of units.

For instance, this kind of wall.

My aim is to let them reach a level where most stats are maxed out, then let the award exp level them up so the guaranteed increase for three stats would take place. Which is why I focused on Izuka immediately upon reaching him.

Just how painful their attacks are?
Elincia reached level 20 in this level, but good thing, her stats turned out okay. That is thanks to her transfer bonus stats.

I made Lucia confront Izuka, since she has the lowest level, and the others are almost max level.

Oh, sorry. Did I just destroy your weapon? That was a droppable weapon, but oh well. No one can even use a dark tome from my current units.

They successfully defeat Izuka, but he is not the one who cured Renning. It was Reyson who was able to undo the Feral One drug.

Before I end this post, there is something I still wonder until now. Who is this one Yune and Stefan are talking about? They are talking about the different people who are also Branded just like them.

That little girl... Are they referring to Amy? Is that why she got spared from the judgement of Ashera? I still can't believe that she would be a Branded. Maybe I left something out from the previous game, particularly the support conversations.

Up next, we will now enter the Tower of Guidance.
