The Harem Files - My Lady of Choice in Fire Emblem: Awakening

For the game Fire Emblem: Awakening, marriage before the epilogue is now possible, unlike the previous games where marriage occurs in the ending. Marriage would also result in having children, or should I say, recruiting children from the future.

In the previous posts I have talked about every lady in the game, which the avatar can marry, and Morgan can have as a mother. In this post I will reveal who my lady of choice is from the game.

Many players have the surprise factor of marriage upon playing the game the first time. Not knowing about the marriage system, they get accidentally married to a lady. Unfortunately, I did not experience that surprise. Why? I started the game as a female character, not knowing there is a marriage system, and I regretted it big time.

Would I have started as a male Robin, I would have accidentally married Sumia or Cordelia, because pegasus knights are my favorite class in the previous games. Since I started as a female Robin, and thinking the protagonists are the most important in the team, I paired up Chrom and Robin everytime, resulting in marriage early in the game.

Finally, my lady of choice is:

Nowi the Manakete

I'm really fond of Manaketes, because they can turn into dragons. I'm really fond of characters with special abilities, and Manaketes do fill the spot. You might suggest Panne the Taguel for special abilities, but I do not find Panne attractive in any way; no offense to Panne lovers.

My choices are Nowi, Tiki, and Nah, so why did I choose Nowi?

I chose Nowi from the three Manaketes because for me, she is the most adorable. She may have a childish personality, but that is what made me like her the most, and that's what makes her cute. Isn't she the cutest?

Nah might also be my choice, but marrying a child character is really awkward. Imagine, your expected wife will be born in a few years, and wait for a lot of years before you can finally marry. Worse, what if the future self likes you, but not the one in the present? I think you get the point.

My Fire Emblem: Awakening family consists of Nowi as the wife, with Nah and Morgan as the daughters. Seeing the Manakete sisters in action made me enjoy the game more.

I think I forgot to mention, when Robin marries Nowi, Manakete blood will be passed down to Morgan, making her a Manakete as well.

I told my lady of choice for this game. Now tell me, who is your lady of choice in Fire Emblem: Awakening?

The Harem Files - The Ladies of Fire Emblem Awakening Part 3

We're back with The Harem Files, and now we are in the final part for the game, Fire Emblem Awakening. I really have to apologize for the very long delay.

On this part, we will cover the child characters. These children came from the fallen future, to warn the people of the present on the fell dragon Grima's revival. Of course, Morgan is not included here because you can't marry your own child, and she could be from an alternate future.

For some players, they would prefer to marry one of these ladies. Why, you ask? The stat modifiers that Morgan can inherit from child characters will be way better than the parent characters, because of the accumulated modifiers. For the sake of harem, I would focus more on their personalities than their stats and inheritance.

The first of the future daughters is Lucina. She is the daughter of Chrom, and whoever he marries. She travels back from the future to prevent what happened in her time

Lucina is determined to change the dark future. Her strong will, and her driven personality are her best traits. Despite these, she could rather be childish, especially when with her sister (assuming she marries anyone but the maiden).

If you want her, you simply need to support her in her goals to change the future, and tell her that she is important to you. Cheering her up would also help, and the best gift to give her would be flowers, since there are no flowers in the future where she came from. You better get started if you are desperate to have her.

Up next is Kjelle. Her name sounds weird. Seriously, I do not know how to pronounce her name right.

Moving on, she is the future daughter of Sully, and her husband-to-be. She loves her armor, as seen in her starting class which is knight. Like her mother, Kjelle also has a tomboyish personality, which is could a turn-off for other players.

To have her, first you must earn her respect, by defeating her in a duel. She treats anyone who is weaker than her as a waste of time, so you must defeat her first before you can actually approach her. Eventually she will warm towards you.

Next is Cynthia, the future daughter of Sumia and her husband-to-be. Like her mother, Cynthia is a pegasus knight.

Cynthia is someone who loves to play hero. For every battle, she would have an entrance, victory cheer, and etc. Seems childish, but that is where she gets her strength.

Unfortunately, of all the traits that she can inherit from her mother, Cynthia inherits Sumia's clumsiness, and also trips a lot.

To have her as your wife, you should make her feel your importance in the army as a tactician, as she tends to screw up while charging relentlessly. Eventually, she will feel that she needs you more than the army. Then you can take it from there.

Severa is the future daughter of Cordelia and her husband-to-be. Because Cordelia is very famous for being perfect, Severa always gets compared to her. This results in her low self-esteem.

She would tend to talk to others in a harsh tone, making it seem that she is a fierce girl. She may seem the cold one, but deep inside, there is a soft side within her.

Courting her ought to be tough, but it's really simple. Her harsh way of talking and her arguments are your ticket to courtship. You just need to be nice to her, and compliment her attitude, even though she has her harsh talks. Eventually, she will warm to you. She might even be the one to confess to you.

Noire is the future daughter of Tharja and her husband-to-be. Because of her being the guinea pig for every spell that Tharja creates, she became a lady who has a timid personality. Because of this, she was given an amulet which brings out her fierce personality.

Courting her is easy. You only need to help her be the girly type. Tell her what you know about girls, and give her a lot of tips. She worries a lot, so you also need to give encouragement. Eventually, tell her that a woman becomes radiant when she's in love. Now sit back and wait for her confession. I should warn you though. She has the mood swings, from the effects of the amulet. But don't worry a lot, her mood swings only covers her timid nature, and her more violent nature. Still worried? I hope not.

Last, but not the least, we have another Manakete. Choosing a Manakete, but Nowi and Tiki not fancying you? The future daughter of Nowi and her husband-to-be is the answer. She is a human-Manakete hybrid though. Want to know her name? Nah.

Unlike her mother, who tends to be childish, Nah is more mature, maybe too mature for her age. In some cases, her attitude would tend to be childish, as she is just a child.

If you really want this lady with Manakete blood, her courting method is the simplest of all. Just cook for her, since back in her time food is scarce, and she needs to eat a lot. Eventually, tell her that the food you cook is filled with love for her.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Writing a little profile for all the ladies is a bit of hard work, especially for those with personalities I'm not really familiar with.

Stay tuned, because the next blog post would be about my choice from all of these ladies in the game.
